Honoring Our Outstanding Volunteers April 7-13, 2019
Spring Hill and Brooksville, FL—This week, Bayfront Health Brooksville and Spring Hill are celebrating National Volunteer Week in recognition of the outstanding work of our volunteers. Their ongoing support and efforts help us deliver top-quality patient care, and provide another level of service to patients and visitors.
“We truly appreciate the contributions of our dedicated volunteers, who have chosen to spend their valuable time serving others,” said Ken Wicker CEO of Bayfront Health Brooksville. “We’d like to extend our appreciation to all the volunteers in our community — their selfless service makes Hernando County a better place to live, said Mike Irvin CEO of Bayfront Health Spring Hill.”
Established in 1974, National Volunteer Week has grown exponentially in scope each year, drawing the support and endorsement of U.S. presidents, governors, mayors and other elected officials.
“This week gives us a chance to honor volunteers and promote their important work in our community,” said Valerie Ciaccio, Volunteer Coordinator, who leads the volunteer program at Bayfront Health Spring Hill. “We hope this inspires others to get involved in volunteer opportunities.”
